Looks Like a Good Idea

We have been thinking of arranging a little gathering, just so we could introduce Betty Friedan to Rennie Davis and maybe help her find peace.

Now that's violent. It is as violent as some of the things Rennie Davis used to say, back in his strenuous period as a leader of the SDS.

But today Rennie Davis has found another way. He has become a devotee of a 15-year-old Indian guru, Maharaj Ji, and he now seeks inner peace rather than outer turmoil. Only the other day he said of his guru, "I would cross the planet on my hands and knees to touch his toe.”
