Letters to the Editor

Guru Maharaji enjoys a nonprofit tax exemption at the expense of the American public, and wallows in luxury, aided by the additional support of an army of hypnotized robots who should be contributing, instead, to the society in which they live.

I cannot understand the indignation which some Americans feel at paying tax money for needy welfare cases if they remain silent regarding Maharaji, whose reported wealth is no secret.

I protest his presence in this country as being contrary to the public interest.
