Here is an e-mail a premie sent me when I was still a premie, regarding that some people couldn't pay the satellite fees asked, and maybe still works this way today because I'm aware - I wish I knew where- that premies get together around here to watch the S.Events.

David Smith suggestted in a "visit" that we have garages sales to send Malibu some money. And fundrisers too.

The e-mail:

Talked with Vision today re: the satellite events and paymenys and finances involved with.  She emphasized ( person from Visions, BTW, only three people were paid a salary, the rest, slaved for free) that the residence rate rate (one household rate) foreevents (sic) was really for families and not for larger groups.  I talked withher (sic) about those of us who cannot afford $25 per event, and she suggestedthat (sic) we at least take a head count and come up with whatever we could, and send the rest at later date (to Visions= RAWAT) or do some fundraising to cover costsfor (sic)each person even if they couldn't do it themselves.  Obviously, weall (sic) it's so important to cover cost for these links. (Satellite Events)  Don't know ifthe (sic) one's (sic) so far were even paid for by contribution.
