The clincher for me, as a fledgling premie, was after I'd accepted the possibility that he could be the Messiah. What choice did that leave me? No choice. Could I deal with being alive on Earth at the same time as the Chosen One - and yet not recognise Him?? Not follow Him???
That was EXACTLY what happened to me, except that it happened before I even received knowledge. By the time that I did, I was already long gone. In the late 70's anything else was hardly possible. You had recognise Rawat "without the fruits" as a prerequisite to "being ready."
